One-on-one Coaching German Arias and Art Songs with Christine Menschner in Boston

The coaching is for you if you want to
  • prepare on the highest level for upcoming auditions, recitals, competitions, recordings 
  • improve your German diction and storytelling in your German arias or songs 
  • work with a German native singer who helps you to sound as close to a native German singer as possible 
Lacking feedback from native speakers, many singers believe they know how to sing in German, but recognizing the appropriate degree of openness of vowels and umlauts can be challenging. Not to mention the ach and ich- sounds and other German consonants! Learn to distinguish the different sounds and get real hands-on--or better yet ears-on--experience. Bring your German art song or aria and Christine Menschner, director of the German Vocal Arts Institute (GVAI) in Seattle, will help you to bring your text to life. ​

    Cancellation policy

    For this coaching session we will rent The Greenroom.   
    There will be a refund of 90% if session is cancelled 8 days prior to lesson date by sending an email to [email protected]. There will be a refund of 50% if session is cancelled 3 days prior to the lesson date by sending an email to [email protected]. If lesson is cancelled after this, there will be no refund. A singer might find another singer to replace her/him in the coaching. In this case, the alternate singer needs to register as soon as possible using the registration form on our website. 

    Circumstances resulting in a cancellation may be taken into account at the discretion of GVAI.  GVAI reserves the right to cancel the coaching for a full refund and will make every effort to give reasonable notice.
