Beth Kirchhoff - Coach, Accompanist
Beth Kirchhoff is a native Kansan who has worked extensively in the Pacific Northwest as an opera coach/conductor, and collaborative pianist.
Beth was Chorusmaster at the Seattle Opera for 13 years, and stepped down from that position in 2013 to concentrate on private voice coaching and teaching.
Beth trained the SOA youth chorus for main stage productions in the 2016-17 season productions of HAENSEL und GRETEL, and DIE ZAUBERFLOETE.
Her formal music training includes a BM, Piano, from Bethany College, Lindsborg, KS; MM in Choral Conducting from Western Washington University, and many years of workshops along the way. Piano studies were with Joseph Levine in Seattle and Ralph Berkowitz in Albuquerque, NM.
As an accompanist, Beth has played for master classes with Stephanie Blythe, Jane Eaglen and other artists, as well as a long and varied list of recitals and competitions in the Northwest. She maintains a active music studio in West Seattle and shares her life with ceramic artist, Loren Lukens.
