SONGS ON CANVAS
German Song Recital with Exhibition and Live Painting by Sissy Altom
Singers from some of the best music schools have come from all over the United States to study with GVAI and sing here in Seattle.
You will hear works ranging from Schubert to Lehar, touching romantic art songs, ensemble selections from Mozart's Magic Flute and favorite operetta highlights.
It will be an afternoon full of beautiful music, joy and laughter.
Sissy Altom, born and raised in Austria, now living in Redmond, will use the inspiration of the music to create a live painting that can be purchased at the end of the performance. She will exhibit her paintings that are inspired by nature.
Sunday, August 5, 2018 3.30 pm.
